But at the start in 2019 Apple announced it was bringing AirPlay 2 to third-party smart TVs. The likes of Samsung, Sony, Vizio and LG are all involved - you can check out a full list of compatible AirPlay 2 TVs Using an iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 14 Public Beta 2 and an Apple TV 4k on tvOS 14, audio does not seem to be working when streaming a video from my phone to the Apple TV via Airplay. Audio is working on the Apple TV when playing something on the device itself. The video is not muted on my iPhone and plays audio fine if I switch back to my phone.
